"The wound is the place where the light enters you." - Rumi
About Me
An existential crisis led me on a journey of meditation and self-inquiry some years back. I was a workaholic living a consumerist lifestyle. I was unfulfilled and I realized I could no longer buy my way out of emptiness. It was also the time I saw how unhealed emotional wounds and trauma kept me repeating unhealthy cycles.
What appeared as a low point of my life turned out to be the start of my awakening as a multidimensional being. My daily meditation practice helped me step outside myself. I began the process of stripping away layers of societal, cultural, and ancestral conditioning that had masked my authentic self. It was a challenging period filled with fear, anxiety, and heartache. I had to learn to let go of control and surrender to the process of life. I turned towards my pain, dived into my shadows, and began a period of self-healing. I traded self-loathing for self-acceptance, and grace poured in. The universe took away my old life but gave me a new one better than anything I could imagine for myself.
Wholeness can't be found out there; it can only be reclaimed within. I believe wholeness is our mind, body, and spirit in alignment. Strength and wisdom grow when we take time to process past traumas and integrate our shadows. Healing and self-development go hand in hand. The more we heal, the more we expand our capacity to experience peace, love, and contentment.
I am influenced by Buddhist & Taoist philosophy and teachers like Thich Nhat Hanh, Adyashanti, Ram Dass, and Tara Brach. Along my path, I discovered the joy of serving others on their healing journeys. I am grateful for this life and the opportunities to share. I continue to learn from my challenges and meet them with awareness and compassion.
My training includes Zen Meditation, Vipassana Meditation, Ericksonian Hypnosis Master Practitioner program, Neuro-linguistic Programing (NLP) Master Practitioner program, Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), Crisis Negotiation, the Chakra System, Energy Anatomy, Reiki, Vocal Toning, and Bachelor of Fine Arts program, The School of The Art Institute of Chicago (SAIC)
I am a 70's kid. Spent my childhood in Asia, my late teen years in South America, and have been living in the US since the '90s. Before working as a guide and hypnotist, I worked in art direction for two decades.
I love nature, animals, baking, dancing, drumming, and life's simple pleasures.
My Intention
My intention is to guide you towards greater healing, peace, and freedom. I aim at helping you harmonize your mind, body, and spirit. My goal is to guide you to shift energetic barriers, live in alignment with your purpose, and feel whole within yourself.
I believe our intention creates our reality. Our lives are reflections of our internal states. We can look at a repeating, undesirable theme we experience as a messenger bringing great insights into how we think and feel. We can use this theme as a way to understand our inner self, and it is from this standpoint, we can begin to empower ourselves by making necessary changes within.
If we don’t like the recurring theme we experience in our lives, we have to heal aspects of ourselves that are creating these undesired outcomes.
I believe our souls are here to learn. Our suffering is like an invitation from the universe for us to transform. If we look at our challenges from an egoic perspective, we feel victimized. If we see our challenges as a call to transform ourselves, we can wake up to our purposes.
Many limiting subconscious thought patterns and negative emotions are the results of past hurts. Releasing old conditioning, changing negative core values, and adopting a self-loving perspective are integral to healing our mind, body, and spirit.
I believe in divine intelligence and the wisdom of the heart. I am not aligned with any particular religion or tradition. I provide equality of services and care to everyone, regardless of people’s gender identity/expression, sexual orientation, disability, race, religion, or belief.
